SPV03 SERIES MODULATING TYPE FLOW BALANCING VALVE

DESCRIPTION  

SPV03 series flow balancing valve consists of flow sensor and SBV characterized opening ball valve, which has equal percentage flow characteristic. The sizes are from DN20 to DN50. Users can preset the flow limit under maximum Kv rating according to terminal design request. When fluid pressure in HVAC system changes resulting in the change of flow rate, the actuator could adjust the valve opening dynamically and maintain the flow rate at the set range. When flow sensor detects the actual flow rate less than the preset flow rate, the actuator receives thermostat signal to control the valve opening. When flow sensor detects the actual flow rate more than the preset flow rate, the actuator receives flow sensor signal to control the valve opening. Then the flow rate could be maintained at the set range all the time.

The actuator receives 0-10V signal directly to control the valve opening, and has 0-10V feedback signal to display the valve opening and actual flow rate. Automatic switching of Cooling or Heating working mode could be attained by temperature sensor (the preset flow rate in heating mode is equal to 50% of that in cooling mode, automatic switching temperature is at 40℃). The flow rate of each valve size could be adjusted by JP2.

Control signal 0V means valve is fully-closed and 10V means valve is fully-open. The allowable deviation value of flow rate is ±5% compared to the preset flow rate. Actual flow rate is calculated according to the calculation formula as follows.

Actual flow rate = ( Feedback voltage of actual flow rate X Maximum flow rate)÷10
